A graduate of Marquette University's School of Dentistry, Dr. Zussman received his certificate of specialty in orthodontics from Loyola University's School of Dentistry. Aside from his graduate school degree in orthodontics, Dr. Zussman also received a Masters of Science Degree in Oral Biology from Loyola University.
Dr. Zussman served 18 years on staff at Loyola University as an Associate Professor of Orthodontics, teaching graduate students the fine-detailing techniques to be utilized in orthodontic treatment.
For over 25 years Dr. Zussman has served in an advisory and instructive capacity at Milwaukee Children's Hospital, teaching pediatric residents orthodontic principles and techniques. He often serves as a consultant for the Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry so as to suggest appropriate orthodontic treatment plans.
Dr. Zussman loves his work and this makes it "play" time for him. If you are seeking a formal, highly professional office environment for your orthodontic experience...perhaps our fun-filled party atmosphere might not meet your expectations. Parents, siblings and often grandparents or babysitters sit in our "audience" chairs while Dr. Zussman works on patients, jokes, works, teases and generally entertains parents and visitors. Because most patients "marry" their orthodontist for two years of active treatment and two more years of retention, Dr. Zussman insists on providing a warm, relaxed place where you can count on lots of personal attention and having a good time.
Community involvement is both a personal and professional goal for Dr. Zussman. He has served in the YMCA Partners of Youth Program, a member of the PTA for West Allis, on the advisory Committee for Goodwill Industries, served as speaker for numerous junior and senior high schools, provided internship employment for Nicolet High School students, and actively fundraised for several Milwaukee agencies.
Dr. Zussman is an active member of the American Dental Association, The American Association of Orthodontists, The Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, The Wisconsin Dental Association, and The Greater Milwaukee Association. Likewise, Dr. Zussman often speaks at local dental study clubs in an effort to educate general dentists regarding the most innovative and effective orthodontic treatments available.
